Our solution for umbrella companies was once a bespoke product that was later packaged up into one-size-fits-all software. This was originally developed to plug the gaps of existing solutions that simply didn’t cut the mustard.

Frequently asked questions
How involved will I be in the process?
We like to nail down as much information as possible when we scope out the work. You’ll have a dedicated Account Manager to assist you along the way, meaning if we – or you – have any questions, we can have a chat about it.
How long will it take from start to finish?
Custom software builds vary depending on the complexity of your requirements. However, it can take months (6-12 months) to ensure all testing is complete on both sides.
We will provide a rough estimate after our initial scoping session.
How much does bespoke payroll software cost?
It completely depends on your requirements. Our quotes are individually supplied, and are based on our development day rate.
Due to being a unique configuration, the software typically costs more than off-the-shelf solutions. However, the long-term benefit of custom software is increased productivity and reduced requirements for additional integrations.
Can I make changes to the software?
We scope out the software in the early stages, and this is our agreed functional specification. Major tweaks to the configuration or changes to the brief may be subject to an additional quote.
Once the software is developed and signed off, further changes will be billed pieces of work, charged by day rate. That’s unless the changes fit under the remit of technical support i.e. you are experiencing an issue with the solution.
Will I have ongoing support?
You’ll receive a package of ongoing support from our UK-based support team. This includes a modern service desk and an Account Manager. We pride ourselves on our great customer service and reliable response times.
Is product training included?
Yes! So you can get the most out of your custom software, we’ll run you and your team through it and answer any questions. Further training sessions can be arranged at a small fee – otherwise your technical support allowance can be used to get a quick answer.
